Hi, my name is Dejan, and I am a a photographer, videographer, and post-producer originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, now living in Canada.
In 2014, I began volunteering at “Studio Mrđenović” as an assistant photographer. I worked closely with the main photographer, assisting in various capacities such as taking additional photos, selling pictures from events, and providing additional coverage. My responsibilities included handling lighting, changing lenses, sorting pictures, and engaging with customers to sell our products.
By 2016, I expanded my role to include assisting the crew with photo editing and video post-production. I earned certificates in studio photography from “Fotomanija” and “Mrđenovic” for photo and video retouching.
In February 2019, I took a leap and started my own business, “NMAqua,” specializing in measuring, analyzing, and detecting water leaks. Alongside my business partners, I successfully completed numerous projects across Bosnia. In October 2020, I was hired to develop a website for “Vodovod a.d. Gradiska,” and I continue to maintain it.
Currently, I am enrolled in the Media Production Program at “Saskatchewan Polytechnic” in Saskatoon, Canada. My plan is to finish my studies in 2024, after which I intend to continue learning and working in the field to gain more experience and stay abreast of the latest changes and technologies. Ultimately, I aim to establish my own production company with a focus on creating diverse media content, including films, TV shows, and music videos. My aspirations also include working with a diverse range of clients, from advertising agencies and businesses to individuals.
